2. Tell G Suite a Little About Your Business
After choosing the account type, G Suite asks you a little about your small business. It includes the name of business, the numbers of employees you have and the country where your business is located. Fill these details very gently.
Keep in mind that if you want to create multiple accounts for each of your employees, you can do that by selecting the number of employees from the options.
3. Tell G Suite About Yourself
In order to create an Admin account on G Suite, you need to enter your personal details. This includes your First Name, Last Name, and your current active email address.
The details you put here will later be shown when you log in to your account.
4. Do You Have a Business Domain?
To create professional business emails, you must own a domain (example.com) name. If you already own a domain name from any registrar, you can simply select “Yes, I Have One I Can Use“. If you don’t have any, you can register a new domain name on Bluehost or directly from G Suite (Google Domains).
In my case, I already own a business domain name. So, I am proceeding to the next page.
5. Add Your Business Domain
On the next page, you need to add your registered business domain name (example.com). The domain name will be used to create professional email addresses such as “email@example.com”, “firstname.lastname@example.org”, “support@yourdomain”, etc.
If you want to add more domain names, you can do that later from your G Suite admin panel. However, the domain you add first will act as your primary domain name. It simply means that the G Suite admin panel can only be accessed using your primary domain only.
6. Create Your G Suite Admin Account
After proving all these details, you can finally create a username and password for your G Suite administration account. The username and password are very critical for account security, so I highly suggest creating a strong alphanumeric password (a combination of numbers, characters, and symbols).
After creating a secure username and password, click Agree and Continue to finalize your account setup. If everything goes right, you will receive a welcome email from the G Suite team shortly in your contact email. See the example of the welcome email below.
In the welcome email, you can get a piece of short information about your G Suite accounts such as Username, Domain name, Subscription, and the date when your trial ends.
